Gettin' down with the plan

NOTE TO SELF

Dear Self:

Good job for yesterday's nearly twinge-free workout of 3 sets/5 lbs of bicep curls, tricep extentions, front and side deltoid lifts, pec presses and pec flyes; 3 sets of 25 squats/holding 10 lbs; two sets of diagonal leg lifts w/2.5 lb ankle weights

Will be increasing those weights asap.

Now to get motivated despite the rainy weather.  I shall overcome!

cue the Gene Autry music: I'm back in the (harness) again... ; )

Greetings, Reader(s)...

I am BACK.  Back with a new blog and a new plan.  : )

Over the past two years, I've had some good indoor climbing experiences and some GREAT outdoor hiking ones.  Dreams of climbing with the man in France last September proved to be more than I was capable of (but, better safe than sorry, and we'll always have Normandy), and then I had a foot injury in November, plus freaked-out elbows at the beginning of the year.

However!  I'm feeling great once again and ready to climb back in the harness to see what heights (actual and metaphorical) I'm capable of reaching.  With a potential (first ever!) climbing weekend in September with the Chicks with Picks gals (http://www.chickswithpicks.net/), I have a lot of preparation ahead of me...lifting, yoga, visits to the local rock gyms, etc.

Guess I'd better get busy, huh?  On, belay!
